An AFL player has become embroiled in an alleged sexting scandal, after messages surfaced on social media.

Screen shots of several messages were leaked on social media, with the Herald Sun understanding the messages were uploaded by an angry ex-girlfriend after they were found on the player's iCloud account.

The player had a girlfriend at the time of the messages, but can bee seen messaging other at least a couple other women, with some leading to sexual encounters.

The messages are yet to be verified by the player.

Some of the messages also centre around drugs, with the player texting: “That cap is now hitting me. Sh.t sh.t," in one message.

A number of sexual messages are exchanged between the player and the women, with the player at one stage asking for their night to be postponed because his girlfriend had arrived.

The Herald Sun has contacted the girls in the text messages as well as the alleged player's manager, but are yet to hear back.

MORE TO COME.
