Two-time Coleman Medallist Charlie Curnow is expected to air grievances when he meets with Carlton power brokers at his exit meeting today, per The Age's Caroline Wilson.

Speaking on Channel 7's The Agenda Setters, the veteran journalist stopped short of saying the 28-year-old will request a trade, but insists the Sydney Swans would be a likely suitor, should Curnow opt to do so.

“It's going to be a big day tomorrow, when the Carlton players do their exit interviews,” said Wilson. "My view is that Charlie is still eyeing an exit from the football club. I know he has stated that he's not leaving the club… but my view is that the Sydney Swans are shaping up as a possible home for Charlie Curnow.”

Such a coup would continue Sydney's proud tradition of luring 'big fish' key forwards to the Harbour City, with their past headline acquisitions of Tony Lockett, Barry Hall and Lance Franklin.

It's been a torrid year on and off the field for the Blues, who will end the season languishing in 11th, after back-to-back missed appearances.

General Manager of Football Brad Lloyd was dismissed from his role in the last fortnight, while head coach Michael Voss narrowly avoided a similar fate, as newly-minted CEO Graham Wright looks to right the ship at IKON Park.

The fan favourite Curnow reportedly holds questions regarding the club's direction, amidst these changes. The speardhead's own season was emblematic of his side's struggles, registering just 32 goals from his 18 appearances, after averaging more than double that mark across the last three campaigns.

Wilson also reported ruckman Tom De Koning is still likely to join St Kilda on big money, despite being "emotional" following Carlton's final game of the season, his 100th appearance for the club.

Once there, De Koning will be one of the two highest-paid players in the competition, with running mate Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera the other, after his new two-year deal was finalised last week.
