North Melbourne forward Aaron Black could be set to leave the Roos, according to his manager Jason Dover.

Speaking to AFL Trade Radio on Monday, Dover said that the 24-year-old is keen to seek a fresh start, after limited opportunities at Arden Street.

“We’ve probably been a little disappointed in that instance. Some of the players brought in might have gone past Aaron,” Dover said.

“Aaron made the choice to stay at the Kangaroos because of loyalty. Perhaps in hindsight, we may look at it differently.

“It’s been 12 months now he’s been treading water.

“Hopefully we can explore some opportunities that might mean a fresh start for Aaron elsewhere.”

Black is contracted until the end of 2017 and has kicked 64 goals in 50 career games with North Melbourne.
