Fremantle captain Alex Pearce believes the continuity of Fremantle's dynamic and diverse forward line will carry it forward in 2026.
Josh Treacy, Jye Amiss, and Pat Voss all played at least 20 games last year and combined for 113 goals, each averaging well over a goal per game.
"As a forward line, they can beat you in a lot of ways," Pearce told Zero Hanger. "Another year of maturity and experience helps, so I think we're ready to take the next step with those guys up front.
"Their competitiveness is the most important trait you can have, and all three of them build their games from that. They're the type of guys you want in your forward line.
"We took some good strides last year. Josh Treacy had a great year, ‘Vossy' burst onto the scene and Jye Amiss is an exciting young player. I think if those three tall forwards play together for the season, they will figure out how to best beat teams as a group rather than individually.
"Having the flexibility of Luke Jackson to come forward at times and also having Hayden Young, Murphy Reid rotating in, plus Shai Bolton, Sam Switkowski, Michael Frederick (is really exciting)."
Treacy led Fremantle's goal kicking last year and has been backed to provide an important anchor point again, while Voss will look to back up a breakout 2026, his second at the club.
"It's Josh's second year in the leadership group for us - he's got a wise head and he's really improved as a player and leader and he's super important with the way we structure up, his presence on the field but he also does a lot of work behind the scenes to set us up," Pearce said.
"It'll be a challenge for (Pat) with teams putting more work into him but playing alongside good players makes things easier. If you put time into one, the other gets off the chain. He doesn't really care who kicks the goals."
