It's officially the AFL off-season, with free agency opening on Friday and the 2025 Trade Period will follow just days later.

All 18 clubs look set to be active in the player movement space, with some busier than others in looking to lure talent through their doors.

St Kilda, Geelong and Brisbane look to be among the more aggressive clubs in chasing top-line talent, while clubs like Fremantle and Richmond are seemingly more likely to place more of a focus on the draft.

Here we've looked at every club's potential trade and free agency moves, their current crop of off-contract players, confirmed departures and draft hand for the off-season.

17. West Coast

Reported Trade Targets: Sam Butler, Thomas Berry, Brandon Starcevich, Tylar Young, Deven Robertson, Jack Steele

Confirmed Departures: Jayden Hunt (retired), Callum Jamieson (delisted), Jeremy McGovern (retired), Jack Petruccelle (delisted), Loch Rawlinson (delisted), Dom Sheed (retired), Oscar Allen (free agency), Campbell Chesser (trade)
Draft Hand: 1, 15, 19, 33, 51

The Eagles have shown an interest in luring local, young or experienced talent to Lathlan Park come the trade and free agency windows. Brisbane defender Brandon Starcevich has been closely linked to a move back to WA as a free agent, but a concussion from the Grand Final win over Geelong raises some concerns given his history. The Eagles will also want any move for Starcevich to avoid impacting their compensation for the loss of Oscar Allen, which is expected to be Pick 2. Premiership forward Liam Ryan and youngster Campbell Chesser are both heading for the exit, likely to join St Kilda and Carlton respectively. West Coast look to have Hawks forward Sam Butler on their radar as a potential replacement, while Richmond's Tylar Young is another linked to the Eagles and would be a good fit for almost no cost. Delisted Sun Tom Berry and his old teammate Deven Robertson are other cheap options to consider, while St Kilda captain Jack Steele has been linked to the Perth powerhouse but would be an unlikely addition.
