Kelly has only just left the Cats and is already believed to have left a large void in Geelong's midfield.
There's no doubt the Cats would quickly welcome him back to Kardinia Park, forming a stronger side than their 2019 minor premiership squad.
Kelly's return added to the strong incoming recruits of Jack Steven and Josh Jenkins places Geelong right back into premiership contention.
