The AFL's Match Review Officer has charged three players from Saturday's matches, while an explanation has been given as to why Suns star Matt Rowell has not been charged for striking.
An incident in the second term of the Round 12 game between Gold Coast and Fremantle involving Rowell and Dockers youngster Neil Erasmus was assessed by the MRO, who was not of the view that Rowell's actions warranted a reportable offence charge.
Rowell was reported for his hit on Erasmus, who was ablet to play out the game.
"The match day report laid against Gold Coast's Matthew Rowell for Striking against Fremantle's Neil Erasmus from the Second Quarter of Saturday's match was assessed by the Match Review Officer," an explanation read.
"It was the view of the MRO that Rowell's actions did not constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken."
From the same game, Dockers tall Jye Amiss has been charged with striking Suns defender Sam Collins for a second-term incident.
Amiss' strike on Collins has been graded as careless contact, low impact and high contact, resulting in a $3000 fine - which can be reduced to $2000 with an early plea.
In the afternoon match between Richmond and GWS, both Kane McAuliffe and Xavier O'Halloran have been charged with making careless contact with an umpire.
Both incidents game in the fourth quarter, with O'Halloran handed a $1500 fine - reduced to $1000 with an early plea.
Given it's the second offence of its type against McAuliffe's record, the young Tiger has been hit with a $3125 fine, which can be cut to $1875 with an early plea.
No other players were charged from Saturday's action.
