A trio of key talls have received fines from the MRO for striking during Friday night's thrilling double header.
In the earlier fixture between Collingwood and Melbourne game at the MCG, Demons forward Harrison Petty and Magpies defender Billy Frampton exchanged strikes against each other during a heated second quarter. Both have been sanctioned with a $1500 fine, which can be reduced to $1000 with an early plea.
In Ken Hinkley and Travis Boak's farewell game at Adelaide Oval, Power defender Aliir Aliir was deemed to have committed the reportable offence of striking on Suns forward Ben King off the ball during the first quarter in a heated altercation, where Aliir also gave away a 50-metre penalty. He also has received a $1500 fine, which can be lowered to $1000 with an early plea.
