Sydney ruckman Brodie Grundy has copped a $10,000 fine ($6,250 guilty plea) for his striking charge on Port Adelaide ruckman Jordan Sweet.

Grundy's offence occurred in the first quarter, with the Match Review Officer (MRO) not taking kindly to this third charge.

The incident was deemed intentional conduct, low impact and body contact.

In the same match, Power forward Willie Rioli was charged with "other misconduct" on Swans defender Sam Wicks.

Rioli received a fixed financial sanction of $1,500 ($1,000 guilty plea).

In the later match, Western Bulldogs duo Lachlan Bramble and Sam Davidson also received financial penalties.

Bramble's rough conduct charge on St Kilda small forward Jack Higgins was deemed as careless conduct, low impact and high contact by the MRO.

The former Hawk will need to hand over $3,000 ($2,000 guilty plea).

As for Davidson, he was fined for his attempt to trip Saints speedster Darcy Wilson, constituting a $1,500 fee ($1,000 guilty plea).

On Monday, Hawthorn midfielder Conor Nash is expected to receive a lengthy suspension for his errant swinging arm on Geelong forward Gryan Miers, which left him concussed.

Bailey Smith could also receive a fine for deliberately slamming the ball into Jarman Impey's head. The MRO have penalised the act before.

Earlier in the round, Collingwood pair Nick Daicos (other misconduct) and Jeremy Howe (attempting to trip) were also fined.

Carlton captain Patrick Cripps was pinged for striking North Melbourne captain Jy Simpkin.

Melbourne duo Kysaiah Pickett (striking) and Caleb Windsor (rough conduct) were also fined, as was John Noble (attempting to trip) and Mark Keane (staging).
