Brisbane veteran Dayne Zorko has been handed a fine from the MRO for his physical retaliation against Collingwood tall Mason Cox during the first quarter of Saturday's preliminary final.
Cox opened the goal-kicking of the blockbuster clash after winning a free kick from a deliberate block by Zorko in the marking contest, which he proceeded to let Zorko know about once he had kicked the major.
Zorko responded by attempting to rip Cox's glasses off his head, which the MRO has deemed as a form of misconduct.
As a result, Zorko will be required to pay a $5000 fine, which can be reduced to $3125 with an early guilty plea.

It is Zorko's second fine of the season and first "other misconduct" offence.
