The AFL's Match Review Officer has handed down three charges from Saturday's action, with Adelaide's Matt Crouch offered a suspension for an incident in Round 5 vs Carlton.

Crouch has been handed a one-game suspension for forceful front-on contact made on Carlton's Jack Carroll.

The MRO graded the incident as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, resulting in the suspension.

An accepted charge or unsuccessful appeal will mean Crouch is unavailable to face Essendon in Round 6.

Crouch's teammate Jordan Dawson has been fined for a dangerous tackle on Carlton's Ollie Hollands. The MRO graded the tackle as careless conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in the financial sanction.

Dawson can accept a $2500 fine with an early plea, or risk challenging the charge at the potential expense of a $3750 fine.

Port Adelaide's Brandon Zerk-Thatcher has been charged with rough conduct on Fremantle's Jye Amiss during Saturday night's game at Adelaide Oval.

Zerk-Thatcher can accept a $2500 fine with an early plea, or risk a $3750 penalty should he unsuccessfully challenge the charge.

A fourth-quarter collision between Port Adelaide's Zak Butters and Fremantle's Bailey Banfield has not been cited, meaning the Power star has avoided any charge for the incident.
