The AFL's Match Review Officer has handed down two charges from Friday's matches, with Adelaide defender Mitch Hinge hit with a suspension for striking.

A second-term incident involving Fremantle's Andrew Brayshaw has seen Hinge earn the ire of the MRO, who graded the Crow's actions as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.

That has resulted in a one-game suspension for Hinge, who can choose to challenge the charge at the Tribunal in the hope of being free to face Carlton next week.

An accepted ban would mean Hinge is next available for Round 9 when the Crows face state rivals Port Adelaide.

Meanwhile, teammate Josh Worrell can accept a fine for a rough conduct dangerous tackle charge from the third quarter.

Worrell's tackle on Fremantle's Michael Frederick has been graded as careless conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a $3000 fine.

Worrell can have that penalty reduced to $2000 with an early plea.

No other player was charged from Friday's matches.
