How might the first 10 selections in this year's AFL Draft unfold?
On this week's episode of Craft of the Draft, Mitch Keating and Jonty Ralphsmith went through a mock draft for the selections currently outside of the top eight.
Splitting up the picks, the draft was done 'live' as both selectors were unaware of who the other would pick, while academy or father-son bids were also included.
Keating had selections for West Coast (Pick 1), St Kilda (Pick 4), Hawthorn (Pick 7), Sydney (Pick 9) and the Western Bulldogs (Pick 10), while Ralphsmith made picks for Richmond (Picks 2 and 3), Essendon (Picks 5 and 6) and Gold Coast (Pick 8).
With three bids made for academy players, the end of the mock draft totalled 12 selections, with Gold Coast's pick swallowed up as a result of those bids.
Opening the mock draft, Keating took Gippsland's Willem Duursma at the top, stating his ability to play a number of roles while being ready-made and having plenty of room to grow his game makes the teenager an enticing option for the Eagles.
"I think many clubs could have him as the No.1 pick," Keating said of Duursma.
"There will certainly be a number of names in contention at the top of West Coast's list, but I have Willem Duursma for many reasons.
"Versatility is one of his leading factors, and it's not the factor he'll get picked on necessarily, but in West Coast's eyes, he could be the top talent if they are picking best available.
"He played a lot of key defensive roles in this year's champs, can play through midfield and can play forward.
"If they had drafted a player like this last year... they lose Tom Barrass, don't have Jeremy McGovern for the second-half of the year, they don't have Oscar Allen and Jake Waterman for most of the year, and they lose Elliot Yeo for what looks like the whole season, Dom Sheed the same is now retired.
"[Duursma] would be able to fill a lot of roles, and it's certainly something he's going to be able to do for them. Clean kicking, great mark, great decision-maker, good athlete, agile. Ticks a lot of boxes.
"It's the talent, the upside, and he could be a ready-made contributor for them as well. It's something they'll certainly want."
Taking the next two selections, as Richmond also holds North Melbourne's first-round pick, Ralphsmith selected Calder Cannons ruckman Cooper Duff-Tytler for the Tigers' opening selection.
The move for Duff-Tytler comes with a caveat, but one that works in favour of Richmond as they continue their rebuild.
"I wouldn't select a ruck if it was your only selection, as a general rule of thumb, in the top 10. I just think the importance and significance of that role doesn't warrant it," Ralphsmith said of his first selection in the mock draft.
"But given Richmond do have two selections, and they overlooked a ruck (last year), they do need someone to succeed Toby Nankervis in the coming years.
"Cooper Duff-Tytler is that perfect sort of player that can also impact forward, is aggressive and is also really athletic as well."
