New South Wales prospect Harry Kyle is a 188cm utility out of the Sydney Academy.
An athletic and genuinely versatile player who has the tools to impact across all parts of the ground, Kyle has been a big riser of 2025.
Remarkably, this year was Kyle's first full season ensconced in the footy talent pathway, having grown up with rugby union, which gives him a unique skillset he is able to bring across to footy, with his ability to draw defenders and sidestep making him a dangerous asset in traffic with his ability to find space.
Has some similar traits to GWS Giants midfielder Finn Callaghan with his high-octane style, transition presence, size, power and running capacity, which were on show for Sydney Academy in the Coates Talent League early in 2025 - a four-game stretch which laid the foundation for Kyle's selection in the Allies squad and VFL match.
Given how far back Kyle started the season, unlike most Academy contemporaries, he didn't get the opportunity to immerse himself in an AFL pre-season, yet so steep has his rise been that there is a school of thought from some that he will be the first Sydney Academy player bid on at the AFL National Draft.
A player with tremendous scope who won the standing vertical jump at the National AFL Draft Combine, he looks likely to start his career off half-back, where his boldness and damaging ball use will come to the fore.
