Adelaide youngster Sid Draper's frustrating pre-season has hit a new low as his groin troubles have reared their ugly head.
Draper has been on a modified training program over the summer months due to his grumbly groin, and has been restricted to running at West Lakes.
However, the Crows midfielder has hit another snag towards his full potential on the eve of the season.
Draper limped off when taking part in a kicking drill, indicating his groin as the problem area.
After attempting more run-throughs and speaking to Adelaide staff, the former Pick 4 called stumps on the session, putting him in doubt for the club's intra-club match on Friday.
The poor injury run comes after much-improved key defender Mark Keane fractured his lower leg and will be sent in for surgery.
Coach Matthew Nicks offered a timeline late last week on Rowey & Timmy G on FiveAA, saying it'll be "around 3 or 4 months".
Dan Curtin is also expected to miss up to three months after he required surgery on his dislocated kneecap.
Curtin suffered the injury in a wrestling incident with captain Jordan Dawson in January.
The Crows begin their 2026 campaign without Curtin and Keane on March 14 against Collingwood at the MCG.
