The Swans announced three contract extensions on Monday with Caiden Cleary, Will Edwards and Riak Andrew signing on until 2027.

Cleary, drafted 24th overall in 2023, has played in seven consecutive matches in 2025 since being selected in Round 5, averaging 13.1 disposals and close to five score involvements per game.

"I'm really grateful to the club for putting their faith in me for another two years," Cleary said.

"I've spent a lot of my junior footy in the Swans Academy, so I really feel like this is home for me. To sign on for another couple of years is a really great feeling, and we have a great group, so I'm really excited to see what we can achieve as a team over the next two years."

Similarly to Cleary, Will Edwards also extended his contract by two years. He was recruited through the club's academy, signing as a Category B rookie in the 2022 draft and has put together a string of solid VFL performances, most recently taking five marks and collecting 16 disposals against GWS.

Riak Andrew is the brother of Gold Coast phenom Mac Andrew, extending his rookie contract 12 months to the end of 2027. The 55th pick of the 2024 National Draft has been lauded for his speed and athleticism, traits similar to the Andrew north of the border.

Sydney's executive general manager Leon Cameron spoke highly of the three young players, believing they will play a role in the Swans' future.

"We are really happy to add Caiden to the growing list of players who have recommitted to the club this year," Cameron said.

"Since coming back into the side earlier this season, he's really taken his opportunity, and we've been really pleased with what he's shown. We think Caiden has a really promising future and look forward to seeing him continue to develop."

"Will has played some great footy at VFL level and has shown great strides in his development over the past couple of years. We knew when we drafted Riak that he was very talented, and pleasingly, he has embraced the hard work required in an AFL environment. We have been really happy with both Will and Riak's progress, and we look forward to them hopefully pushing for AFL selection in the near future."
