The opening night of the 2025 AFL Draft saw 25 selections, headed by West Coast's newest player Willem Duursma.

The Eagles were major players on the night, making four bids on club-tied players, forcing Gold Coast's hand three times, as well as Carlton's.

The Suns finished with four academy players in the first 25 selections, while Richmond, Essendon and Melbourne all snared a pair of talented prospects.

Catch up on all of the action from night one of the draft, as well as profiles and more club analysis ahead of night two.
