Which THREE sides does Cornes ‘trust’?

Port Adelaide great Kane Cornes only trusts three teams in 2020 - Brisbane, Collingwood and his former club the Power.

In what has been one of the most unpredictable seasons yet, the Eagles, Tigers and Giants - all touted as premiership contenders - have largely underdelivered so far with just one win each.

There has been a number of shock upsets, most notably Gold Coast's domination of West Coast in Round 2 and Carlton's narrow win over Geelong on the weekend.

Speaking on SEN’s Whateley, the Lions, Magpies and Power are the only sides that he has faith in to consistently perform.

“I can certainly trust Brisbane,” Cornes said on SEN’s Whateley.

“Collingwood I’ve got no issues with and Port Adelaide, even if you can argue that they haven’t beaten anyone of substance yet, but that test will come.

“That’s what I love about the season, you can turn up (on any day) and you don’t know who’s going to win.

“That’s what makes this season so fascinating.”
