West Coast will welcome back skipper Luke Shuey for the side's Round 6 encounter against Port Adelaide this Saturday afternoon at the Adelaide Oval.
The 32-year-old has missed the last two matches (Melbourne and Geelong) after injuring his hamstring in the side's loss in Round 3 to cross-town rivals Fremantle.
The hard-running midfielder isn't the only welcome inclusion back into a depleted Eagles outfit, with young ruckman Callum Jamieson set to come into the 22 after overcoming an ankle injury.
Speaking to the club's website, Head of Health Mark Finucane said both players have ticked the boxes in their rehab.
"Luke has done all his progressions as per his rehab plan to date and had a big session on Saturday so he just has to train this week to push for selection this weekend," Finucane said.
"Similar to Luke, Cal did a big session on Saturday, including some ruck work and he just needs to get through training this week to be available for the weekend."
However, the news isn't great for premiership player Elliot Yeo, who is set to miss the next couple of weeks with an adductor injury.
Injuries have plagued Yeo in the last three seasons, including in 2022 with soft-tissue injuries restricting the two-time All-Australian to a career-low five appearances.
"Unfortunately, Elliot has sustained an adductor muscle in a tackling contest on Patrick Dangerfield, so he'll be unavailable for likely the next couple of weeks."
Carnage on the side's injury front took another hit with first-year midfielder Elijah Hewett hurting his ankle in the WAFL, while ruckman Bailey Williams will be closely monitored after developing hamstring tightness in the Geelong clash.
Meanwhile, West Coast's first-round selection Reuben Ginbey is likely to face the Power after being managed during the second half of last Sunday's clash. The club will continue to look to how they can manage the teenager in the coming weeks amid a battle with injuries.
Following on from West Coast's injury report, Adam Simpson confirmed to media that veteran defender Shannon Hurn is in doubt despite being rested.
"We rested him last week and he then pulled up sore after training would you believe," Simpson said.
"He will probably miss this week."
7 News reporter Ryan Daniels has revealed first-year forward Noah Long is also in doubt to face Port Adelaide due to a hamstring issue.
The Eagles are dealing with a lengthy injury list which includes defender Tom Cole (ankle), Jamie Cripps (ankle), Harry Edwards (wrist), Jeremy McGovern (hamstring), Nic Naitanui (Achilles), Isiah Winder (knee), Liam Ryan (hamstring), Dom Sheed (throat) and Jack Williams (spleen).
