West Coast have offered former captain Ben Cousins a part-time position at the club, following his release from prison on Wednesday.
Cousins left the Acacia Prison early on Wednesday after serving 10 months of a 12-month sentence he was serving for 11 offences, including aggravated stalking and drug possession.
Following his release from prison, the Eagles released a statement to confirm they had offered the 39-year-old a position at the club, in a bid to help the fallen Eagle get his life back on track.
"This has been a particularly hard time for Ben and his family and we look forward to him beginning the next phase of his life," the Eagles' statement read.
"He has been offered part-time employment by the club, working with our community and game development department, which we believe will have mutual benefits for both parties."
Cousins now returns to an AFL club for the first time since retiring in 2010, after 270 games for West Coast and Richmond.
