Carlton utility Brodie Kemp has put pen to paper, signing an extension until the end of 2027.
Kemp entered 2025 without a deal for next year, and denied switching to St Kilda at the end of last year.
The 24-year-old began the year brightly, but was downed by a ruptured Achilles in April, which ended his season. According to the club's media, he ran for the first time on Monday.

Kemp has played 49 games since being drafted with Pick 17 in the 2019 National Draft from Geelong Grammar.
The utility finally cemented his spot in Michael Voss' side after a wretched run with injury and form in his first few years at IKON Park, relishing in his newfound role inside 50.
He broke out in Round 3 against the Western Bulldogs kicking a five-goal haul and taking seven marks.
Kemp was thrilled to stay at Ikon Park for the foreseeable future, telling Carlton Media that he is buoyed by the potential of the playing group ahead of 2026.
"[The contract] means a lot," Kemp said.
"That'll take me to my eighth year, which doesn't really feel that real, but I'm super excited and still pretty bullish on what this group can do over the next few years.
"It's been a challenging year for sure. I felt that at the start of the year I was really ready to play some good AFL footy and felt like I was locking down that forward role. To go down injured and do my Achilles and be out for the year was really disappointing for me personally.
"But it's given me a bit of time to reflect on what I can get better at and what will help me in the role when I return."
Carlton Head of List Management Nick Austin expressed Kemp's extension was a "testament" to his commitment to his rehab and the promising signs he displayed in both forward and defence since 2024.
"We see a lot of promise in Brodie, so to have him re-sign is a real positive. He is coming off a consistent 2024 and was really finding a place in the forward line," Carlton's Head of List Management Nick Austin said.
"Whilst we all felt for Brodie after his injury, we can't fault his diligence and determination during a tough period. He has really attacked his rehab, so today's announcement is a real testament to his positive mindset and desire to be the best player he can be.
"Brodie's willingness to play whatever role asked of him tells you a lot about his character and why he is such a loved member of the group: we are excited to see Brodie continue to grow his game."
Calls on Flynn Young, Francis Evans, Harry Charleson, Jesse Motlop, Mitch McGovern and Will White are yet to be confirmed.
