Adelaide co-captain Taylor Walker and Sydney spearhead Lance Franklin engaged in an unusual bet during their clash at the SCG on Friday night.

Walker was on hand to help the Crows grab a vital 26-point win, but also had time to make an in-game wager with Franklin.

The Crows skipper spoke to Triple M on Tuesday morning, confirming he’s owed a slab of Lemon Ruskis from Franklin.

“I had a long shot from outside 50 and he said ‘the only bloke on this ground that can kick that far is me’,” Tex said on Roo and Ditts For Breakfast.

“I was lining up and I missed it and he was having a set shot and I said ‘we’ll put a carton of beer on it?’

“‘Actually no, I’ve heard you like Cruisers, nah I’ve heard you like Lemon Ruskis don’t ya?’

“I got him, I could see him smirking a little bit and he messaged me last night and said ‘I’ll send a carton of Lemon Ruskis your way’.”
