A country footballer has broken his neck in a frightening head on collision. But he is thankfully expected to make a full recovery.
Lavington player Kade Stevens suffered a fractured C6 and C7 vertebrae after his head and neck were crunched in a front on bump.
Amazingly, Stevens was helped up and walked off the field, before being taken to hospital for scans.
