Essendon have reportedly entered the race for out-of-contract Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch, per The Age.

The 26-year-old has been closely linked to a move to the Suns, with the Bombers now entering the contention for the bullish onballer.

In a recent interview with Channel 9, Crouch said he was open to several options beyond this season.

“I haven’t spoken to my manager about specific sides,” Crouch said.

“I know definitely he’d be having conversations with different teams at the moment, about different deals and what other teams need and stuff like that.

“But there’s no one I’m ruling out at the moment.”

Crouch's asking price remains a major factor in negotiations, with the Crows and Crouch's management in deep discussions.

There are likely to be several clubs chasing Crouch's signature, with Essendon the latest club to emerge.

Crouch put together another strong performance for the Crows in their win over GWS on Tuesday night.
