Adelaide key forward Taylor Walker has openly stated his desire to remain a Crows player beyond this season, amid reports the Gold Coast Suns have tabled him an offer.

The 32-year-old is currently slated to enter unrestricted free agency at the end of this year, with Adelaide yet to pose an offer to the bullocking forward.

Speaking on Triple M's Roo, Ditts & Loz for Breakfast on Tuesday morning, Walker made it clear his preferred outcome is to remain at West Lakes but noted he is yet to receive a formal offer from the club.

"Number one is, do I want to stay in Adelaide? Yes, I do," Walker said.

"Is there a contract on the table at the moment? No there's not.

"So certainly that's something that Dogga (Walker's manager Michael Doughty) is gonna have to negotiate for me, and I'm sure we'll get to an outcome sooner rather than later."

Chris Dittmar, who features on the Triple M program, reported that the Suns have offered Walker a contract for next season and potentially beyond.

Walker was in the spotlight for the wrong reasons last year, suspended six games by the AFL for making a racist comment towards an opponent during a SANFL contest.

However, since returning to the Crows' senior lineup, Walker has bagged 18 goals and has been in the All-Australian conversation.

Whether Walker stays a one-club player or switches colours in free agency, remains to be seen.
