More details regarding Hawthorn duo Dylan Moore and Connor MacDonald's arrest have come to light, with reports revealing Moore was in possession of a small bag containing a "crystalline substance" and a "rolled up $100 bill".

Moore and Macdonald's arrest in Arizona came to light earlier in the week after the pair were charged with criminal trespass for allegedly climbing onto a scissor lift under the influence of alcohol.

"As the two males were standing on the platform, another group of males were cheering them on filming them, sending them cheers of encouragement," the Scottsdale Police Department report states, according to the Herald Sun.

"I walked underneath the boom lift and told the males they needed to get off of the platform. They responded to me asking if they had done something wrong.

"The males then told me they didn't know how to get down so I told them they could get down the same way that they got up there."

Upon arresting Moore, the police confiscated items from his pocket.

"As I was pulling a couple of items out of his pocket, a small plastic baggie with a small amount of a crystalline substance fell out of his pocket and landed on the sidewalk," the arresting officer wrote.

"I picked it up and asked what that was and Dylan immediately responded that (it) wasn't his.

"I then searched his pocket again (and) located a rolled up $100 bill with a crystalline residue inside of it as well."

Moore was initially charged with drug paraphernalia, but the Hawks star revealed on Channel Seven that it was dismissed.

Moore was stripped of his vice-captaincy. He spoke on Channel Seven on Tuesday.

"I was in the US, having a few drinks and made a foolish mistake," Moore said.

"I decided to get on a scissor lift. Next thing I know, the cops are there telling me to get off. I got off, and the next thing I know, I'm in police custody.

"It is something I will always regret. A foolish mistake has led to a night in a jail cell and many regrets."

The duo were fined by the club, and will undergo alcohol counselling and complete community service.
