Collingwood has provided an update on a key duo, while Adelaide is set to regain some troops.

Here's all the latest injury news from across the AFL...

Wagner season over

Fremantle has confirmed that important utility Corey Wagner's season is over after being subbed out of Fremantle's Round 24 match against Western Bulldogs.

“He's ruptured his pec major muscle, so he's gone into surgery today to repair that," High Performance Manager Phil Merriman said.

“He won't be seen again for the rest of the year.”

Forward Sam Switkowski, meanwhile, is a test to line up in the elimination final after a contact knee injury on Sunday.

“He copped a couple of knocks to his knee during the game, so he's a bit sore at this stage,” Merriman said.

“We'll work him through the gears and it's great to have the week off for him.

“We'll hopefully get him up to be available next week.”

Sun shining for trio

Gold Coast could welcome back Daniel Rioli, Bailey Humphrey and David Swallow for the club's do-or-die clash with Essendon.

The Suns must win Wednesday's clash at People First Stadium to make the finals.

Rioli and Humphrey are expected to take their place against the Bombers after overcoming leg and knee injuries, while Swallow has been ticked off after a knee complaint.

Emerging youngster Will Graham is also progressing well from a hamstring injury, but will be available for the first final, pending the club makes it.

Crows fly as youngsters available

Adelaide will have Max Michalanney (hamstring), Luke Pedlar (hamstring) and Lachlan McAndrew (jaw) available for selection ahead of the qualifying final against Collingwood.

Michalanney has been absent since Round 20, while Pedlar has been missing for the past fortnight.

"Lachlan McAndrew, Luke Pedlar and Max Michalanney are all available for selection," Adelaide General Manager High Performance Darren Burgess said.

"It's yet to be determined whether they'll play SANFL this weekend or not… a Thursday game makes it a little bit tricky.

"We'll determine that later in the week."

Crafty forward Josh Rachele is also a chance to feature in September from a serious knee injury.

"Josh has done a whole lot of work in the past seven to 10 days," Burgess said.

"He's moving really well and is doing a lot of skill work now.

"He'll be assessed next week but is still probably one week away."
