Adam Saad is becoming one of the most in-demand names of 2020, with two more Victorian clubs joining the hunt for the 26-year-old.

According to AFL Media's Riley Beveridge, Carlton and North Melbourne have joined the Demons in a pursuit for the pacey defender's signature.

The Bombers have reportedly offered a four-year deal for Saad, with the defender seeking a five-term deal, with talks having since stalled with Essendon.

The hold on negotiations is set to open discussions with rival clubs according to Beveridge.

“A couple of Victorian clubs have been alerted to that (stalled contract talks) and have shown a lot of interest,” he said.

“It’s my belief that North Melbourne is one of the clubs that rival teams think has a really big interest in Adam Saad at the moment

“And also Carlton, another club that has interest in Adam Saad.”

If Saad is to request a trade away from Windy Hill, the Bombers would be seeking an early second-round section in return.
