Our Rookie Rankings have undergone further change off the back of the weekend, while an extra rung has been added to the order.
Every six weeks we have added one extra rung to our Rookie Rankings, with an eighth spot opening up after Round 18.
The latest changes have seen a Tiger return to our rankings, while his teammate has fallen further due to a season-ending injury that has forced his absence.
Selection Criteria: Zero Hanger's Rookie Rankings ONLY consider players who have made their debut this season. Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2025 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as Nate Caddy, Dan Curtin and Connor O'Sullivan are ineligible, having already played an AFL match before Opening Round, 2025. Suspension does not make a player ineligible for our Rookie Rankings.Â

1Levi Ashcroft (-)
The Lions father-son has been a consistent cog for Chris Fagan this year on the wing.
He could be a starting outside midfielder in most sides given his decision-making and positioning out wide for the Lions.
On Thursday night, Ashcroft collected 14 disposals, five marks and a goal to continue his push for the Rising Star.
