Our Rookie Rankings have undergone further change off the back of the weekend, while an extra rung has been added to the order.

Every six weeks we have added one extra rung to our Rookie Rankings, with an eighth spot opening up after Round 18.

The latest changes have seen a Tiger return to our rankings, while his teammate has fallen further due to a season-ending injury that has forced his absence.

Selection Criteria: Zero Hanger's Rookie Rankings ONLY consider players who have made their debut this season. Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2025 season will not be consideredI.e. Rising Star eligible players such as Nate CaddyDan Curtin and Connor O'Sullivan are ineligible, having already played an AFL match before Opening Round, 2025. Suspension does not make a player ineligible for our Rookie Rankings

8Luke Trainor (NEW)

The tall Tiger returns to our Rookie Rankings as we add an eighth run.

The young swingman has continued to play whatever role is required of him, and Saturday night was no exception as Trainor, who shook off a wrist injury, played on the wing and in attack.

He would register 16 disposals, five marks, five tackles and two scoring shots in the thrilling win over Essendon at the MCG.

The Tigers could make it two wins in as many weeks with a trip to Perth in Round 19 to take on West Coast.
