A Demons youngster and a Saints forward have each dropped one spot, with a young Tiger jumping two places into fifth overall.
Two-game Essendon defender Zak Johnson has impressed to make his case as a potential addition to our Rookie Rankings in the second half of the season, while Pick 2 selection Finn O'Sullivan enjoyed his best game of the year to be on the periphery of the top seven.
Selection Criteria: Zero Hanger's Rookie Rankings ONLY consider players who have made their debut this season. Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2025 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as Nate Caddy, Dan Curtin and Connor O'Sullivan are ineligible, having already played an AFL match before Opening Round, 2025. 3. Murphy Reid (-)
The Dockers young gun had a week off with Fremantle's mid-year break, giving the Western Australian club the chance to reflect on an up-and-down opening to their 2025 campaign.
Reid has been among the positives for Justin Longmuir, booting 14 goals in a dozen appearances while averaging 13.5 touches per game.
His craft as a forward-half asset has been a nice addition for the Dockers, who have begun to rely on star recruit Shai Bolton further up the field.
