A Demons youngster and a Saints forward have each dropped one spot, with a young Tiger jumping two places into fifth overall.
Two-game Essendon defender Zak Johnson has impressed to make his case as a potential addition to our Rookie Rankings in the second half of the season, while Pick 2 selection Finn O'Sullivan enjoyed his best game of the year to be on the periphery of the top seven.
Selection Criteria: Zero Hanger's Rookie Rankings ONLY consider players who have made their debut this season. Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2025 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as Nate Caddy, Dan Curtin and Connor O'Sullivan are ineligible, having already played an AFL match before Opening Round, 2025. 6. Xavier Lindsay (-1)
It wasn't the performer the Demons flanker would've hoped for in his maiden King's Birthday match, with Lindsay subbed out of the close contest in the second half after managing the four touches.
He did record six tackles but also gave away a crucial free kick in his side's defensive 50 when the game was on the line.
Lindsay has been a solid contributor to date and will firmly remain among our top seven if he can bounce back to the form that has had him near the top of our Rookie Rankings.
