Welcome to Zero Hanger's top 50 player rankings for 2025 - a list based primarily on a player's 2025 production in addition to their career pedigree and future projections.

Here is the penultimate edition (20-11) of our top 50 AFL players of 2025...

2024 rank: 32

Tom Green's statistical output was as extraordinary as the AFL has seen in recent memory as he shouldered a heavy load in the Giants' midfield.

He became the only player since Clayton Oliver in 2022 to average at least 29 disposals and eight clearances per game, doing so for a GWS side that ranked 13th in the league for clearances won.

With his growing leadership and the addition of Oliver to the Giants' engine room, 2026 looms as a big year for Green.
