The list of the names still out-of-contract at the end of 2021 is star-studded.

With the mid-way point of the season approaching, clubs will want to be getting their big names off the market as opposition teams prepare offers for some of the game's biggest names.

The likes of Patrick Cripps, Marcus Bontempelli, Harry McKay, Jack Billings and Zach Merrett are all out of contract and could be tempted by big money and long-term offers to leave their current clubs.

Every club will have their eyes on potential new recruits, but they may need to get their own ducks in a row before looking elsewhere.

Western Bulldogs

Marcus Bontempelli

Bont's signature is arguably the most important of anyone on this list. While he will most likely be going nowhere, the Bulldogs need to make sure of that, as there will be clubs  throwing the bank account at star midfielder. If he remains unsigned, the noise will only get louder and could distract the Dogs from a premiership tilt.
