The list of the names still out-of-contract at the end of 2021 is star-studded.

With the mid-way point of the season approaching, clubs will want to be getting their big names off the market as opposition teams prepare offers for some of the game's biggest names.

The likes of Patrick Cripps, Marcus Bontempelli, Harry McKay, Jack Billings and Zach Merrett are all out of contract and could be tempted by big money and long-term offers to leave their current clubs.

Every club will have their eyes on potential new recruits, but they may need to get their own ducks in a row before looking elsewhere.

Tom McCartin

McCartin is almost a touch of a throwback to the early 2010s. The swingman can play both forward and back and often plays bigger than his size, a highly valuable skill. McCartin has become a key for the Swans as they reset their list and climb the ladder again.
