The list of the names still out-of-contract at the end of 2021 is star-studded.
With the mid-way point of the season approaching, clubs will want to be getting their big names off the market as opposition teams prepare offers for some of the game's biggest names.
The likes of Patrick Cripps, Marcus Bontempelli, Harry McKay, Jack Billings and Zach Merrett are all out of contract and could be tempted by big money and long-term offers to leave their current clubs.
Every club will have their eyes on potential new recruits, but they may need to get their own ducks in a row before looking elsewhere.
We've named the look at the priority out-of-contract re-sining for every club. Did we get it right?
Port Adelaide
Martin Frederick
Frederick provided a spark when he entered the Port Adelaide team. It was a sign that the youth were ready when called upon. The Power have managed their list well and they you'd imagine they'd like to keep Frederick and avoid having a club lower on the ladder poach him with the lure of more game time.
We never get sick of these stories! 🤩
Years ago, @PAFC''s David Rodan met a young Martin Frederick...
...and on Sunday he was there to congratulate him on his Port debut! 😁
