If you thought the AFL Footy Show was struggling before, don't look now. After weeks of low ratings, the Footy Show was beaten by The Front Bar in all three of the major football states last night.

The Footy Show had 32,000 less viewers in Melbourne, 8000 less in Adelaide and 4000 less in Perth.

If ex-host Garry Lyon's words are anything to go by, the network would be concerned with the low ratings.

“They’d be worried about those numbers,” Lyon said on SEN.

“Channel 9, without wanting to sack the institution, would be worried about those numbers.

“I don’t see (The Front Bar), so I’m not qualified to comment, but it’s clearly doing well.”
