Alright, folks.

Collingwood

Does anyone need a win more this weekend?

As a side that has fallen from grace harder and faster than Milli Vanilli, the only team in the competition that is realistically hungrier for a win in Round 9 than the Magpies are, ironically, their opponents, the 0-7 Kangaroos.

However, for the members of a once mighty black and white mass that are planning to make their way to Marvel Stadium this Saturday afternoon, know that the mathematicians and the tipsters have your boys first in line at the bain-marie.

Although Stats Insider has the Pies as favourites by just shy of four goals against North Melbourne, you can be sure that Collingwood's myriad of members, as well as their under-siege coach, will be happy with a much slimmer margin when the final siren sounds – so long as they are on the right side of it for the first time since late March.

If not, then you can also be sure that it will be hotter than hell at the Holden Centre next week.
