Alright, folks.

You should all know the drill by now.

There are 18 teams playing in nine games this weekend, and because nothing in this life is either perfect or complete, we here at Zero Hanger still believe each of these aforesaid combatants still come with a raft of question marks.

So, before the second month of the regular season draws to a close on Sunday evening, we have sought to answer each club's most pressing queries ahead of Round 8 of the AFL season.

Western Bulldogs

Is all of this 'Jamarra jabber' over blown?

Look, I am aware of the fact that when a player is taken with the first overall pick of any draft, there is always going to be an unmoderated hullabaloo about the teenager's talent, potential and debut date.

However, as Daniel Harford pointed out on Thursday, since the dawn of the draft era in 1986, the first player selected has almost always gone to the previous season's worst performing club.

As this type of team is already well and truly ensconced in the cellar's gloom, they have absolutely nothing to lose by playing their newly acquired prospect.

But, for a side as offensively potent as the Bulldogs have been this season, Luke Beveridge has been afforded the ability to choose when he and his selection committee eventually drop precocious forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan in the deep end.

Sure, Joshes Bruce and Schache were well below par against the Tigers last Friday, but with Tim English set to return this week, there isn't actually a natural position for the talented 18-year-old to fill.

Although the prized pup has proven himself adept both in the air and in front of goal at VFL level, injecting a teenager with a slight frame and a small tank into the well-oiled offense of a premiership contender is almost certain to have an adverse effect.

Personally, I too would love to see Jamarra show us what he has as soon as possible, but for the pundits that are consistently posing the same question, perhaps it is time to give it a rest.

The day will come eventually.
