Alright, folks.

You should all know the drill by now.

There are 18 teams playing in nine games this weekend, and because nothing in this life is either perfect or complete, we here at Zero Hanger still believe each of these aforesaid combatants still come with a raft of question marks.

So, before the second month of the regular season draws to a close on Sunday evening, we have sought to answer each club's most pressing queries ahead of Round 8 of the AFL season.

St. Kilda

Does a win have them back on track?

With the memory of their trifecta of thrashings this season still looming large, Brett Ratten's congregation are still well and truly behind the eight ball, with many pundits - both professional and amateur - already putting a line through their chances in 2021.

Although a win at Carrara against the Suns on Saturday will have the Saints' seasonal ledger squared at 4-4, is it enough to say that they have steadied the ship?

Personally, I think not, as until they replicate their form of last season, and start beating sides they aren't predicted to, then their tags of 'disappointing', 'underwhelming' and 'despondent' are likely to stick.

As the Saints' challenging start to the season is only set to intensify from Round 8 onwards, their work is well and truly cut out for them.

However, with their pair of rucks back, their big named imports firing last week, their small forwards hitting the scoreboard and their fledgling midfielders making a bit of noise too, the job is not insurmountable.

Despite the fact that the vast majority of us would have had the Moorabbin men finishing well above the Carrara kids this season, the sinful Saints actually enter this weekend as underdogs.

So, this aforementioned assignment starts now.
