The 2025 AFL Free Agency window will close at 5:00pm (AEDT) on Friday, with 17 free agents still not signed.

Eleven clubs have at least one free agent still listed, with the Western Bulldogs having the most with three.

Players don't have to be signed before the deadline, however moves to other clubs must be finalised prior to 5:00pm.

Collingwood pair Brody Mihocek and Mason Cox could both be on the move, with the former seeking a switch to Melbourne.

Mihocek's signing has been delayed however, with a trade deal now more likely as the Demons look to avoid diluting the compensation they received for the loss of Charlie Spargo.

Cox has been forced into a wait on his future, with Collingwood's list spots balance to decide whether he will return to the black and white. No external suitor has emerged for the American.

A host of other players across the competition face a similar fate to Cox, with fringe assets for Adelaide, Brisbane, Carlton, Geelong, Gold Coast, Hawthorn, St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs all still unsigned free agents.

Sydney pair Jake Lloyd and Dane Rampe are expected to continue their careers in the red and white, with West Coast to do the same with Jamie Cripps.

Geelong veteran Cameron Guthrie is joined by Jed Bews in being off-contract and eligible for free agency.

Norm Smith Medal winner Jason Johannisen is another who could earn a new deal at the Kennel.

One player on the move is Gold Coast's Brayden Fiorini, who, like Mihocek, is likely to be traded instead of switching clubs via free agency.

Fiorini's management have confirmed the Victorian's wish to join Essendon, who will want to open trade talks with the Suns given the Dons acquired first-round compensation for the loss of Sam Draper already this off-season.

Draper's move to the reigning premiers is one of seven deals already settled in the signing window, six of which netted clubs compensation.

West Coast captain Oscar Allen's move to the Lions saw the Eagles pocket Pick 2 as compensation, while Carlton earned two first-round Picks (currently 10 and 22) for losing Tom De Koning and Jack Silvagni to St Kilda.

GWS utility Jacob Wehr's move to Port Adelaide was the only deal that did not trigger compensation.
