The following list of players have a current ownership of 5 per cent or less in SuperCoach heading into round one of the 2019 AFL season.

In no particular order, here are 10 most best PODs to pick in your side:

Wayne Milera (Defender)

Price: $433,100 / Ownership: 3%

Milera is due for a breakout year who showed glimpses of stardom in the second half of 2018. His JLT form was superb, scoring 76 in his first outing before collecting 28 disposals at 100% efficiency for 123 points in the second week of matches.

Luke Ryan (Defender)

Price: $489,900 / Ownership: 2%

Scores of 83 and 81 from two JLT performances, Ryan is one will seriously benefit from the new kick-in rule, especially when playing at home. In 2018, he averaged 90 SuperCoach points in just his second season at AFL level.

Elliot Yeo (Midfielder)

Price: $585,500 / Ownership: 5%

Has enjoyed the transition into a full-time midfielder, and showed real signs of improvement fantasy-wise in the past 12 months. Averaged over 100 for the second consecutive year, and his midfield-only option makes him a serious point of difference.

Jaegar O'Meara (Midfielder)

Price: $503,200 / Ownership: 4%

Didn't feature in JLT 1 but restored faith the following week with 104 points while amassing 35 possessions. Not as cheap as previous seasons, but has proven what he can accomplish when fit.

Marcus Bontempelli (Midfielder)

Price: $564,600 / Ownership: 3%

After high ownership last year, it's unusual to see 'Bont' in less teams heading into round one. One of the top goal-kicking midfielders from the past three seasons, his ability to open up the game inside 50 makes him a decent selection.

Dayne Zorko (Midfielder)

Price: $520,200 / Ownership: 2%

The new Lions skipper is probably underpriced considering his ability to score 120 plus with ease, averaged over 108 for two straight years in 2016-17. The only worry is consistency when he starts getting tagged.

Jarrod Witts (Ruckman)

Price: $480,900 / Ownership: 4%

The second newly-appointed captain on this list, Witts averaged 88 and 94 from his two seasons with the Suns. A great option as your second ruck if you're looking for a cheaper player.

Sam Menegola (Geelong)

Price: $543,100 / Ownership: 3%

Menegola averaged 100 last season for the third consecutive year since being drafted. He managed to record 120 points or more on six different occasions last season and his forward and midfield durability makes him a worthwhile choice.

Mitch Wallis (Western Bulldogs)

Price: $498,800 / Ownership: 2%

Hasn't received as much fantasy attention as teammates Josh Dunkley and Toby McLean, but Wallis is a cheaper option up forward who has shown high consistency in recent years. A decent JLT showing with scores of 124 and 88. From 18 matches last season, Wallis dropped below 80 just three times.

Travis Boak (Port Adelaide)

Price: $478,000 / Ownership: 2%

Has the potential to return to his best after moving on from Port Adelaide captain, scores of 81 and 101 in both pre-season games reflects that. Boak's season averages have dipped in recent years, but the 30-year-old still has something to offer fantasy coaches as an under-priced forward.
