10. Cats pounce on Carlton's Tom De Koning
De Koning, a 203cm product of the Dandenong Stingrays, comes out of contract at Carlton at the end of next season, meaning the Cats would have to strike a trade with the Blues in order to reunite him with brother Sam.
The 22-year-old has played just 22 games (including 13 in 2021) over three seasons at Princes Park, so it's hard to imagine the Blues driving a super hard bargain for the ruck-forward.
Ruck
Hitouts
Marks
Disposals
With Rhys Stanley, Jonathon Ceglar, Esava Ratugolea and draftee Toby Conway currently all pushing for ruck minutes at Geelong, this is a play for the future for the Cats, who not only reunite two brothers but also inject more youth into one of the AFL's oldest lists.
