Backs
Back Pocket - Brad Sheppard (West Coast)
Sheppard was as influential as any Eagle on the ground against the Power.
His stats aren't the most eye-catching, but keeping Power star Robbie Gray to 15 rather un-eventful touches and no goals is no easy task.
Full Back - Robbie Tarrant (North Melbourne)
The 2016 Syd Barker medallist had the formidable task of taking on Taylor Walker and did so with emphatic results, keeping the Crows captain to just one goal.
Tarrant gathered 17 touches and eight marks of his own as he, together with Scott Thompson, cooled off the league's hottest attack.
Back Pocket - Caleb Marchbank (Carlton)
Collingwood's forward issues have been well documented and this former GWS jet wasn't about to make things any easier on the Pies.
10 of Marchbank's 21 touches on the weekend were intercept possessions as he collected an impressive nine marks and five rebound 50s in his performance.

A career-best performance from Jones helped propel the Swans to the first win in 2017.

He also gained 449m for the Swans and had 11 score involvements.
Centre Half Backย - Steven May (Gold Coast)
The Suns' co-captain was at his best on Saturday night, keeping Tom Hawkins relatively quiet while also setting up a large part of his side's offense from half back.
May's gained 511m from his 26 touches and thwarted a number of Geelong attacks with nine intercept possessions.
Half Back - Elliot Yeo (West Coast)
Making the most of his good form, Yeo led the Eagles' strong win away from home with 27 touches (17 contested) that included nine intercept touches and an impressive 578 metres gained.

With the Saints trailing by almost three goals midway through the third quarter, Steven provided the spark that saw them kick 10 of the final 13 goals and take their biggest scalp of 2017.
Steven finished with 29 touches, seven clearances and two crucial final quarter goals in an instrumental display.

The Bont was crucial in the big moments of Saturday night's thriller against the Tigers.
In attack and defence, he stepped up as his 27 touches, nine tackles, six clearances, four inside 50s and a goal was highly influential as the Dogs snuck over the line.

Forward Pocket - Sam Petrevski-Seton (Carlton)
Petrevski-Seton looks like a guy who's been in the system for much more than six months.
This week's NAB Rising Star nominee grabbed 21 touches, four marksย and two goals as he continues to impress the Carlton faithful.
Full Forward - Jarrad Waite (North Melbourne)
Waite returned from injury in style with a bag of six goals to compliment his 22 touches, eight marks and six tackles.
Controversially, he'll miss this weekend's game through suspension as Roos fans hope this kind of performance won't just be a flash in the pan.
Forward Pocket - Mark LeCras (West Coast)
Gave West Coast the dream start they had hoped for with three first-quarter goals before applying constant pressure throughout.
He would finish with four goals from his 17 touches, including eight score involvements in a classy game from the veteran.
Followers
Ruck - Matthew Kreuzer (Carlton)
Whenever this guy has a game like this, Blues fans must wonder what could've been all these years.
Kreuzer matched up against an in-form Brodie Grundy and somewhat nullified his impact before doing his best work at ground level like we know he can, laying seven tackles, winning six clearances to go along with his 15 touches - 14 of which were contested.
Ruck Rover - Lachie Neale (Fremantle)
40 touches (16 contested), nine clearances, five tackles and a goal proved the Dockers little man was a class above in their win on Sunday afternoon.

The spotlight might've been shining off of Gary Ablett's bald head but it was his younger teammate who impressed the most on Saturday night.
Hall grabbed 32 touches, 10 marks, laid eight tackles and kicked a goal as the young Suns responded impressively to each Geelong question
Sebastian Rossย (St Kilda)
Ross and Steven led the midfield brigade for the Saints in their impressive win over the Giants on Friday night. Ross' 31 touches was a game high to go along with his nine clearances and four inside 50s.

Despite the loss, Ryder's performance prompted Eagles coach to say that his ruck division was "comprehensively beaten" with Ryder's 42 hit outs going a long way to earning that praise from the opposition.
He also tallied 20 disposals, seven marks, six clearances, six inside 50s and a goal.
