Ruck: Max Gawn (Melbourne)

Gawn was terrific for the Dees on Friday night in their narrow 10-point loss to Port. The big ruckman finished with 53 hit outs and 16 possessions. Gawn has to be the red hot favourite to be the All-Australian ruckman this year.

Rover: Jack Viney (Melbourne)

The midfield battle on Friday night between Port and Melbourne was intriguing and Viney was one of Melbourneโ€™s best with 31 disposals, 20 of which were contested and 14 clearances.

Wines celebrated an extension on his contract this week with another brilliant game for the Power on Friday night. He finished with 29 touches, 17 contested and eight clearances.
