Sydney ruckman Peter Ladhams has signed a new two-year deal to remain with the Swans.

The Swans offered Ladhams the deal in July, but the ruckman was weighing up his future among the movement of other ruckmen around the league.

The 27-year-old played 10 games for the Swans this season, alongside first-choice ruckman Brodie Grundy, with a total of 31 games at AFL level across his four years with the Swans.

Sydney Swans Executive General Manager AFL Football, Leon Cameron, said the contract extension is a reward for Ladhams' hard work.

“Pete has been a very handy addition to our squad since arriving at the club a couple of years ago. His ability to play in numerous positions is extremely valuable to us,” Cameron said.

“This two-year extension is a good reward for effort and consistency for Pete, and I look forward to seeing what he will contribute in the coming seasons.”

Ladhams' new deal means that Jake Lloyd and Dane Rampe as the only Swans who are without a contract for 2026.
