Hawthorn

Hawks fans got a glimpse into their upgraded defence as the two Bs (Battle and Barrass) took their place in the side.

Josh Battle looked the better of the pair against the Bulldogs, gathering 27 disposals and six marks in 91 per cent game time.

As for Tom Barrass, he spent a bit more time on the sidelines but showed his immense defensive prowess against the Dogs' talls.

Verdict: Both Battle and Barrass will play in Opening Round.
