As for the Bulldogs, although they slide one spot from 14 to 15, they improve their second pick, jumping into the top 30 before the beginning of the night.
It will be the fourth deal Gold Coast has engaged in to ensure matching bids on their academy prospects.
The deal between the two clubs is set to go through once the 2025 AFL Draft begins at 7:00 pm (AEDT).
It's not the only pick swap that will go through once the evening begins, with Carlton expected to trade out their top two selections.
The Blues are preparing to match a bid on father-son prospect Harry Dean, which could be one of West Coast's first selections.
The Bombers are set to collect Pick 9 whilst sending a late first and two early second-round selections to Princes Park, which are currently Pick 21, 27 and 30.
If the deal goes through on the night, it could arm the Tullamarine club with three selections inside the top 10.
As for the Kangaroos, they currently don't hold a first-round selection after selling their 2025 top pick to Richmond 12 months ago, helping secure Matt Whitlock.
Key parts of the swap with Carlton will include Pick 25, 46 and a future second-round selection for Picks 11 and 54.
