Collingwood 8.11 (59) def. by Port Melbourne 9.11 (65)

Port Melbourne has delivered in the clutch, defeating Collingwood by a single kick. Thomas O'Sullivan was terrific for the Borough, he had 34 touches as his side cemented third spot heading into finals.

Brayden Sier was one of Collingwood's best on ground, he finished the game with 24 disposals and a goal.

North Ballarat 6.11 (47) def. by Sandringham 15.12 (102)

It was a big win for Sandringham, however, it wasn't enough to book them a place in the finals, falling short on percentage. Nicholas O'Kearney (26 disposals and two goals) put in a big game for the Zebras, as did Rowan Marshall (four goals).

Despite a tough day for his side, James Keeble was able to slot three goals for North Ballarat.

Footscray 8.10 (58) def. by Williamstown 14.17 (101)

Williamstown locked up top spot thanks to a win over Footscray. Adam Marcon (31 disposals, 10 tackles, and a goal), and Michael Gibbons (32 disposals and a goal) led the way for the Seagulls.

Both Mitch Honeychurch and Mitch Wallis had 22 touches in the loss.

Casey 11.15 (81) def. Werribee 9.12 (66)

Casey made sure of their top four position, defeating Werribee by 15 points. Ex-NBL player Corey Maynard had 21 disposals and two goals for the Demons, while his teammate Jack Trengove had 25 touches.

Matt Hanson had yet another best on performance for Werribee. He would finish the game with 30 disposals and nine tackles.

Richmond 17.17 (119) def. Coburg 4.9 (33)

Richmond will head into the finals in winning form thanks to a big performance against Coburg. Brandon Wood performed well, finishing with 29 disposals and two goals, as did Anthony Miles who had 28 touches.

In what was a dark day for Coburg, however Liam Hunt played well. He finished the game with 29 disposals and one major.

Geelong 10.9 (69) def. Essendon 9.13 (67)

Geelong claimed the four points on the weekend, however could not get the required percentage to send themselves into the finals. Former North Melbourne player Aaron Black slotted two goals, while Timm House put in a good performance.

James Ferry and Daniel Younan both slotted two goals for the Bombers, however, it was not quite enough to get them over the line.

Box Hill 19.13 (127) def. Northern Blues 7.8 (50)

Box Hill piled on the goals, as they booked themselves a place inside the top two. Kade Stewart and Will Murphy both kicked bags of four goals in the Hawks' win.

Rhys Palmer was one of the best for the Blues, he managed to kick three majors.

WAFL

Claremont 10.14 (74) def. by West Perth 12.6 (78)

West Perth delivered down the stretch, as they confirmed their position in the upcoming finals series. Andrew Strijk was crucial for the Falcons, he finished with 21 disposals and three goals.

Jake Murphy did all he could for Claremont, finishing the game with and impressive 32 disposals and five inside 50s.

Swan Districts 10.9 (69) def. by East Fremantle 20.10 (130)

East Fremantle put in a massive game to breeze past Swan Districts. Cameron Eardley had 31 touches and a goal, while Sean Henson recorded 32 disposals.

Former North Melbourne player Matt Riggio had a lot of the ball for Swan Districts, recording 32 disposals.

East Perth 10.8 (68) def. by Subiaco 16.14 (110)

Scott Hancock (30 disposals) and Liam Ryan (six goals) helped guide Subiaco to an impressive win over East Perth. Lachlan Delahunty was also good, slotting four majors in the victory.

Sharrod Wellingham has put his hand up for a recall for the Eagles' finals campaign, collecting 30 disposals and kicking two goals.

Peel Thunder 12.14 (86) def. by South Fremantle 18.12 (120)

Haiden Schloithe (26 disposals and a goal) once again put in a stellar performance for South Fremantle, helping them claim a 34-point win over Peel. His teammate Cory Dell-Olio was also good, kicking two goals.

Despite the loss, Rory O'Brien had 23 touches and a goal for the Thunder, while Griffin Logue had 20 disposals.

SANFL

Eagles 6.13 (49) def. by Central District 10.9 (69)

Central District kept the Eagles goalless in the first term to help setup a 20-point victory. Travis Schiller had a great day for the victors, recording 32 disposals and kicking a goal.

Even though his side went down, Chris Hall put in a fantastic performance, collecting an impressive 37 disposals and taking 12 marks.

North Adelaide 10.6 (66) def. by Port Adelaide 15.16 (106)

Despite a slow start, Port Adelaide powered home to defeat North Adelaide. Brett Eddy kicked three goals to assure his status as leading goal-kicker for the year, while Robbie Young slotted four majors.

Max Thring was once again among the best for North Adelaide, he had 25 touches and five inside 50s.

Norwood 11.10 (76) drew with Sturt 10.16 (76)

A late behind from Sam Baulderstone meant that Norwood and Sturt shared the points from their clash on Saturday. Mitch Grigg put in a good showing for Norwood, he had 27 disposals and two goals.

James Battersby was one of the better players for Sturt, collecting 24 touches and recording seven tackles.

South Adelaide 13.8 (86) def. Adelaide 12.10 (82)

Scott Thompson has kept his hopes of recording at least one more appearance in the AFL alive. Despite his side going down, the veteran had 28 disposals, six inside 50s and kicked two goals.

Nick Liddle was one of the main reasons South Adelaide claimed the four points, he had 23 disposals and six rebound 50s.

West Adelaide 14.8 (92) def. Glenelg 12.7 (79)

A nine goal second half has led West Adelaide to a 13-point win over Glenelg. Chris Schmidt had a great game in the victory, finishing with 24 touches, nine marks, and seven tackles.

Lachlan Earl had a big game for Glenelg, collecting 29 disposals and six inside 50s.

NEAFL

Gold Coast 19.9 (123) def. NT Thunder 12.12 (84)

Jarrad Grant did it again, slotting eight goals after kicking seven the week before. His effort helped Gold Coast book themselves a place in next week's preliminary finals. Matt Shaw was also good for the Suns, kicking three majors.

Darren Ewing was once again among the goals for the Thunder, slotting three, while Adam Sambono also bagged three.

Sydney Uni 19.12 (126) def. Aspley 11.10 (76)

Sydney Uni couldn't be stopped, as they kicked 19 goals to defeat Aspley by 50 points. Zach O'Brien kicked four goals, while James Brain chipped in with three.

James Nelis did all he could for Aspley slotting five majors, however, it was not enough.
