Sydney had a day out against Redland, recording a mammoth 127-point win. Samuel Fisher (32 disposals and four goals) was superb, as were Jordan Dawson (26 disposals and three goals) and Aliir Aliir (27 disposals, 25 hit-outs, and two goals).
Luke Rogerson was one of the lone shining lights for Redland, however, he was inaccurate in front of goal kicking 1.3.
Canberra 6.12 (48) def. Sydney Uni 15.17 (107)
Sydney Uni kicked away late to claim a 59-point win over Canberra. Zach O'Brien was arguably the best player on the ground, recording 31 disposals and a goal.
No surprises that Jordan Harper was again one of Canberra's best, he had 35 disposals and six tackles.
Brisbane 16.8 (104) def. by Gold Coast 16.15 (111)
Gold Coast came from behind in the second half to defeat Brisbane by seven points. Mitchell Hallahan (38 disposals, 14 marks, and a goal) was huge for the Suns, as was former Bulldog Jarrad Grant who slotted seven goals.
Matthew Hammelmann again hit the scoreboard for Brisbane kicking three majors. Tom Cutler also impressed despite the Lions losing, he had 26 touches and two goals.
Aspley 20.12 (132) def. Southport 13.9 (87)
Four goals and 20 disposals from Oskar Baker helped lead Aspley to a 45-point win over Southport. His teammate and ex-Roo Ben Warren kicked three majors.
Jordan Keras put in another great effort for Southport, he toiled away to record 27 disposals and eight tackles.
